We, the Patrician Brothers believe that a Value Based Education is a powerful and positive force, that shapes the lives of future citizens. It is our unceasing endeavour that each student leaving the portals of this Institution, leaves as a better individual, equipped with the right ideals and beliefs. This indeed, is a reflection, of the all embracing philosophy of, an integral education, which is followed by the school in its pursuit of excellence. Our dream is to produce, not just brilliant students, but students who possess a living soul. We wish to send into the world, and into society, young men and women, of honour, of sterling character and of great substance.

For Patricians, "Victory" is not an accident; but it is a success, that is wrought by team work - the dedicated efforts of teachers, students and parents. As in the past, this academic year has also seen many proud Patricians, winning many laurels for their Alma Mater, in Academics, in Sports and Games, as well as in Cultural competitions. We have achieved cent-percent success in the A.I.S.S.L.C. examination and 99 percent in the Higer Secondary Examinations. We believe and recognize, that without the support and co-operation of the parents, our efforts to impart a Value Based Education would have been impossible, in today's world and scenario.

We live in an age of technology and in a world of great advancement and change. One cannot remain complacent, and attempt to spend our lives basking in the glory of the past. There is no doubt, that in order to enhance performance, to build potential and to face the frequent changes, we have to create an environment that enables our students to face the challenges courageously as well as successfully. Therefore it is essential that the education we impart focusses, even on the Psycho - spiritual dimension. A child is created in the image and likeness of his/her creator. We do our best through the principles and the values that we impart, to make children always remember their creator, and that the greatest manifestation of our love for Him, would be in the deeds that we render to our brothers and sisters. Every First Friday of the month, Holy Mass is celebrated in the School Chapel. It is our belief that this spiritual journey would rejuvenate and nourish our souls, just as food nourishes the body, and knowledge nourishes the mind. This year we celebrated the Golden Jubilee of this Spiritual House of prayer and reverence. There is no denying that this Chapel is the spring of spiritual nourishment for all who enter it, seeking God's love and mercy.

We duly admit that a sound mind in a sound body cannot be developed and nurtured without regular practice, and training and proper infrastructure. Our long time wish was fulfilled by constructing a beautiful Basket Ball Court and installing Green Boards in all class rooms with generous assistance of our loyal parents and well wishers. I thank all the parents and well wishers for their co-operation during the academic year.

We believe in grooming students, not just for Careers, but for Life. We strive to instil in each child, the right attitude, so that he is sensitive, to the disadvantaged and less privileged, and reaches out to the less fortunate. The emphasis, is on, awakening a sensitivity in the child, to the higher values of Life, rather than a mechanical adaptation to the social machinery. It is our conviction, that only an enlightened soul can bring to whatever he does, the right values and the right culture. So every Patrician is constantly reminded that he/she has received many gifts and talents from God, and it is to be shared with their needy 'Brothers and Sisters'. Our senior students along with their teachers made an effort to organize an outreach programme, in collaboration with the Jesus Park Christian Charitable Association. We hosted an entertainment programme, and shared time and gifts with the inmates of the Adyar Cancer Institute, bringing for a moment, cheer into their lives that was otherwise filled with untold physical pain.

The Lord has been more than generous to us. He has been our source of inspiration and support in good, as well as difficult times. We thank Him for His graces and blessings and pray that He continues to hold us dear, in the palm of His hand.
